What my blogs will be about.

I had a lot of back and forth on what my blog would even be about. I debated making a fairly generic journal entry type page, a fan blog for my favorite football team (the Carolina Panthers), and a sort of game review blog about the games I have played or am currently playing. I didn't fall in love with any of the ideas and thought that they were not interesting enough to blog about or that I would have enough of a connection to talk about the content at length. Then I stopped on that idea and looked at what I could talk about for days on end and decided to go with my hyper-fixations. So my first choice of hyper-fixation to talk about will be Devil May Cry, the multi-media franchise based on the video game from Capcom.

How my blogs will typically go:

I plan to initially give a synopsis of story of the game or material that I am discussing. Followed by my initial experience with that specific piece of media. I then would like to go into greater detail about the specifics of what makes that piece unique and different and what it brought to the franchise whether new or just variations of established norms, whether it was well received or despised by the fandom, and how it impacted the franchise moving forward. Finally I would give a sort of closing thoughts and potentially a rating out of 10.

Other things to expect from my posts:

I plan to try to make things more visually interesting as I continue to learn and explore the customization options that I have through WordPress. I want to try and add images related to the media I am discussing and incorporating them in different ways so that things aren't just bland and static, but I will need so more time and practice before I can confidently say I am happy with the final product. So I ask you bear with me as I learn how to stylize my blog make it my own.
